Fourth of July Star

My princess wanted to wear her red, white, and blue for her last day of school this week so we decided to make her hair festive as well. I've seen "Star" hairstyles out there and this was our version of one of my favorites. You do 3 Pull-Throughs at the top of the head. Divide the rest of the hair into two sections and pull them into ponytails. Divide the hair from the side Pull-Throughs into two sections each. The middle Pull-Through will be divided into 4 sections. Take the left half of the sections and twist each one. Pull them over to the bottom right ponytail and combine them with an elastic. Take the right half of the sections and twist each one. Weave them through the left sections as you pull them over to the bottom left ponytail and combine them with an elastic. We braided the ponytails into Quad Braids and attached some festive bows. This hairstyle got many comments from people at school and it held together really well too.
